Beginning from the first machines for solar lenses and mask at the second half of 90', than with the first MonospheraRX-DD (automatic ophthalmic lenses industrial edger), realized in 2001 and thanks to the depth expertise in CNC milling machinery, our company introduce the "milling revolution" in the optical industry. The milling process allow to increase the production rate and the flexibility of our edger. Ever since, this is the main reason because the major worldwide eyewear producer, lens manufacturer and labs have chosen our technology. Currently MEI's commitment is aimed to refine the working process and to implement new solution for his partners.
