The 3DFramer machining centre, born from Mei’s experience in CNC manufacturing, allows the reduction of the loading time and the “after bending” machining of wrap frames.

Based on a new machine concept, 3DFramer makes simple what is normally complicated and helps the manufacturing department to catch up with the fashion latest needs.

3DFramer is equipped with a two position rotary table that allows to do all the loading phases outside the working area without stopping the cutting cycle.

The loading area can be equipped with a fully automatic loading system, or with just the safety sensors for the manual loading.

Whichever is the loading system, it does not increase the cycle time, because all the loading phases are performed outside, on the free station.

A useful CAD/CAM allows to do 3D programs using the base concept of the 2D drawings, and makes it easy for the user to adjust the program.

Thanks to these new concepts, 3DFramer can easily handle the high curve plastic frames and the already bent tablets.

Technical description

  • Welded steel machine base stabilized and epox painted, with leveling feet.
  • Two position rotary table equipped with two stations with two rotary axes each.
  • Linear axes with lead screw and ball linear slides brush less servomotors and long life lubrication devices
  • Rotary axes with brush less motor and high precision gear
  • High power liquid cooled spindle with HSK tool support.

  • Cooled electric cabinet, controlled by Windows XP operative system
  • Adjustable locking system for the inside operation
  • Interchangeable locking system for outside operation based plastic expander
  • Loading system operated by a controlled linear axe and selfcentering pneumatic grippers
  • Rough tablets magazine with three loading positions that allows to load the macine without stop the cutting cycle.

Reduce the production time and costs
As all the producer know the time need to get the first new pair of glasses is quite long if you use the injection process: first the project of the mould and afterwards its production. It takes time, a long time and a huge amount of money. 3D Framer allow to reduce production time and cost. Please, consider that we need just 3 or 4 days from the Cad project to the first pair of new glasses. And the cost is just the manpower. Increase the production flexibility
Thanks at the tools changer (able to store 25 tools) the machine can work any kind of process in the same cutting process: holes, notches, slot, etc. The accessory that bend the busk before to cut it, allow to perform any kind of sport or wrap frame. So you don’t have to limit your catalogue any more. Think bigger!
 
Increase production rate
The double hand allow to load a new busk (flat or curve) while the the cutting process is ongoing. In this way the machine don’t have any downtime and your production rate can arise. And if you chose the automatic loading version it’s even better.
