Laser Marking Unit

This device, designed to be applied to a machine Sphera2Plus and Sphera2Plus-XL aim to perform some drawings, words, or logos on the front surface of the lens or masks shields.

The system has a proper base structure with feet, is fixed to the machine with some alignment pins, and can perform the laser marking during the cutting, using the time between a loading phase and the next one. This don’t increase the cycle time of the edging machine.
The unit is equipped with a sucker pick and place device, that receive the lenses from the Sphera2plus loading arms, takes it out from the loading area, present it under the marking head, wait the print and return it to the  Sphera2Plus or Sphera2Plus-XL loading arm, ready for the normal loading phase.
The pick and place device is based on a CNC system that moves three different axes.
The interface of the unit allow to define all marking parameter, included the axes position and laser beam power and speed.

The connection between the  Sphera2Plus or Sphera2Plus-XL and the Laser unit allow to select the cutting program and the marking program with a single step, because the two working files are connected.
